Welcome to the Carbon, Water & Soils Laboratory in Houghton, Michigan. We provide cost-effective and full support of radiocarbon sample preparation and graphitization for standard radiocarbon dating. Our lab was established in 2011 with the goal of increasing researcher access to radiocarbon analyses, and encouraging the use of statistically robust sample sizes.

Our lab manager, Paula Zermeño, has 19 years experience in radiocarbon sample preparation, and has tutored countless students in the lab. If your students want to come to the lab for hands on experience, please let us know.
